In 2002 Tere’ DJ ShortyLove Gilliard earned a Master’s Degree in Communication Arts from NYIT where she also worked at the radio station for several semesters and DJ’d many of the campus parties. In 2003 DJ ShortyLove was nominated in Justo’s mixtape categories (Best Female & Rookie of The Year).
More recently DJ ShortyLove became the 1st female DJ to join the internet online radio network, Sikmixxradio in 2010. In 2012, DJ ShortyLove was added to the roster of DJ's on Music Choice Mixtape Audio Channel Cable Network. As mentioned in Oprah's, O Magazine December 2014 issue, DJ ShortyLove keeps the crowd spirit's high.
Working in video broadcast post-production for 10 years, DJ ShortyLove tends to be a behind the scenes kind of machine operator. However, when operating the 1’s & 2’s. She’s right up front motivating the crowd.
