Garrett Brown first gained local notoriety by racking up sought-after residencies at some of New York's hottest nightclubs, including the world-famous Marquee, Tenjune and Bungalow 8. Along the way, he has entertained for a "who's who" of celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, Jay-Z, Bono, Quincy Jones, and Bruce Willis.
"G. Brown is somewhat of a rarity in the scene these days; a DJ who cares as much about skills as he does selection," says friend and Grammy Award winning producer, DJ Mark Ronson.
His unique style and musical taste, along with an uncanny ability to read a crowd, have led people from all over the world to call on him on him. MTV requested his talents for a series of events in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dolce and Gabbana handpicked him to DJ numerous events in Europe and Asia, including their Fashion Week events in Milan. He also counts Esquire, Emporio Armani, Vogue, GQ, and Nike as some of his clients.
