Introduction: A Liminality Records artist, DJ/producer and A&R executive, Claudius Raphael ascended the ranks in NYC to become one of the most in-demand DJs in New York City.
Starting off as the go-to DJ for the hottest fashion designers' runway shows and private parties in the early 2000, Claudius was eagerly sought out by some of downtown's hippest scenesters. Claudius was one of the first to introduce New York City to what is widely known as EDM at the time. Bridging his open format roots into house music, Claudius was able to bring together New York City in a way no other DJ has. Known for his uncanny ability of keeping venues packed well past closing, Claudius caught the attention of the Koch Brothers and was asked to take the resident DJ position at Day&Night (the
hottest brunch gathering in NYC), together bringing their boozing brunch concept to an entirely new level when it was launched at the Legendary Oak Room.
It was there when Claudius gained the attention of Hollywood A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Eva Longoria, Kevin Spacey, and many more. Claudius is a New Year's Eve favorite in St. Barth, particularly at the Famed Yacht Club. There, he has played for the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Salma Hayek, and Jason Statham, just to name a few.
With regular appearances in Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez, Mykonos in Greece, Japan, China, Mexico, and Brazil, Claudius has created a strong presence among the international elite.
DJ/producer Claudius has joined forces with Liminality Records and is currently working in the studio on his new project FlytRysk Music, of which is comprised of a focus on tech and deep house formats.
