FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To me, DJing is more than just showing up and throwing on a couple of great tracks. I typically conduct an interview with my clients (preferably in-person, but can be done via phone) to find out what type of music they're looking for to make their event special. Also, larger events such as weddings can require additional equipment rental, depending on the venue, so the client interview is useful to find out how much equipment is needed to make the event sound amazing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 10-year nightlife veteran DJ, spinning exclusively in Manhattan bars, clubs and rooftops. I have worked in entertainment and music my entire professional life, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies (with an emphasis in piano performance) from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a musician since childhood, and am lucky enough to be able to pursue my passion as a profession.
