FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every family begins with a 90-minute initial consultation. This is when we sit down, talk about your goals, access your dog's behavior and come up with a detailed training plan. Follow up lessons are offered individually or as a discounted package. You also have the option to schedule a free 15-minute phone call with Rachel. This is a great option for prospective clients looking for more detailed information about how our certified, vet-recommended trainer can help!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Request an appointment day and time for your initial consultation. Rachel will reach out to set up an initial consultation. Step 2: We will schedule your 90-minute initial consultation. At the consultation, Rachel will meet your dog, take your history, listen to your training problems and goals. Then together formulate a personalized plan. This is when we determine what package is best for you and your dog. In addition to your time together at the lesson, the initial consult includes a 2-4 page detailed training plan that will lay the groundwork for the rest of your sessions together, handouts and a clicker, emailed to you after each session and unlimited phone and email support as we work together. Step 3: Sometimes plans change! Sometimes dogs progress mush more quickly than anticipated and sometimes unexpected roadblocks present. As we continue with lessons you will be sent follow up notes week to week to ensure everyone is on the same page.
