FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on which service you and your dog need. Please see a detailed list and description of services at Ruff Customers website - click on the Training link.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client and I first make contact, I send the client and introductory letter which outlines the services requested plus costs and includes a behavior history form for the client to complete (for puppies needing basic obedience and not behavior work, I have a brief form). We may also speak on the phone or via email if the client has specific questions or concerns, or if I have questions about the dog's behavioral history. Then we meet at the client's home for an initial consultation. Depending upon the client's and dog's needs and the severity of behavior, we will then decide on a number of training sessions going forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my resume posted on my website with all relevant animal training and behavior education listed. see ruffcustomers.com and click under "About " for the link to my resume. Some notable education includes my successful completion of all five of Dr. Bob Bailey's "Operant Conditioning Workshops" and, after completing three of her academies, my status as a Pat Miller Certified Trainer (PMCT)
