Pawsitively Love LLC
About
We are able to provide a home environment for training, with a focus on individual attention. This unique situation and the use of positive reinforcement makes the transition back to your home less stressful for everyone! We work on practical application of the training that we teach, which means that adapting from place-to-place is smooth.
The reward that comes from helping a puppy to learn and grow is amazing!! The foundation that is built in the first few weeks / months at home will shape what your life will be like with your puppy, and we are thrilled to be a part of that process!

Elizabeth has been great with our new puppy Hank. So far we have worked with her once in person and scheduled another session. She is very good with Hank in person and gave us tips I have been practicing for the last week. The best of all she followed up the first session with a recap email so I can refer to it between lessons.

So wonderful at what she does ... Elizabeth loves dogs and they think she's their best friend! So informative and excellent homework assignments to keep the training up when she's not there. Thank you thank you!

Elizabeth, Juan, Nadia, Rachel and the rest of the Pawsitively Love team are extraordinary. They care for your dog like it was their own.One of my dogs has been boarding with them for 3 months and is extremely happy and receiving great care. My other dog had knee surgery in August and Elizabeth walked her during her rehab while she was at the vet and last week she started boarding with her brother at Pawsitively Love. She is very happy to be with her brother and the Pawsitively Love team. I would not trust my pets with anyone else. They are getting the best care, love, and attention possible. They get lots of belly rubs, kisses, long walks in the park and to play with other wonderful dogs staying at Pawsitively Love.

We were in a bind with our newest addition-a 5 month old puppy-My husband who works close to home had to go out of town for business-I work in the city but live in the burbs-None of our local doggie day cares allow pick ups after 7pm-I get home at 8:30-9pm...I googled doggie daycare on the Upper West Side and found great reviews for both Pawsitively Love and the owner Elizabeth. I brought Petunia in for an evaluation and was very pleased with seeing how attentive the staff was to the dogs during my tour of the facility. After her first day of day care when we'd get to the door to be let in-her tail would start wagging -she loved it! Elizabeth's staff is Awesome-always gives updates about Petunia's day. She was walked 3x a day and fed there as well...She was pooped from all her playing by the time we'd get home..a tired dog is a happy dog. I highly recommend Pawsitively Love and Elizabeth!

Pawsatively Love is exactly what the name says! Elizabeth Wood who heads the company came into our lives thanks to the recommendation of a trainer who knew that our dog Georgia, a muscular, reactive bundle of energy, could not be handled by just anyone. That was almost a year ago and we are all--including Georgia--so happy and grateful to have Elizabeth in our lives. In addition to being knowledgeable, totally responsible and reliable, Elizabeth clearly loves our four legged kids. If we had tails, we would wag them as enthusiastically as Georgia does when Elizabeth arrives. Highly recommended, totally trustworthy and intuitively in synch with her charges. Two paws up (or should I say four?)!
