Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Try to get your best price for rental in off season. If you rent in Manhattan in November-March you get better prices!
Buy with price per square foot in mind. Know the average price per square foot for this particular area or a building and buy bellow it!
Get your agent to do research for this particular building you like and ask him to get you off market deal. Ask him to send you comps of what was sold in the last two years.

-Do you have any OP listings so its free for me?
-What is the best building, area, school district in Manhattan?

A. -What area in Manhattan is your favorite? What building do you like? Is it close to transportation? What is the school district is it? What is your points of interest such as restaurants, gym, museum or theater? What are the amenities of the building you can't live without? Rent with the purchase in mind. Buy with the exit strategy in mind.
