FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly attend fitness, nutrition and product trainings to stay on top of the latest trends and changes in fitness and health. I also write/blog for various magazines online and print.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a career coach for years and many of my clients often would have health issues and/or go through life changes where their health and work were at battle with each other. They were either too busy to spend quality time with their family/friends, lost their job and gained weight from being depressed, wanted to start a family, traveled so much that they did not have any routine and are poorly...and the list goes on I wanted to have a solution for them. But without your health you cannot do anything well. So, I decided to get certified to train personally and with group as well as indoor cycling because it was the only fitness class I could take after my own surgery years ago and I saw how it helped me physically and mentally.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Choose someone to work with who gets YOU and wants to see you succeed. You need to click with them because you will be spending a pt of time together. 2. Look for someone who is both a cheerleader but can also push your limits. 3. Also, chose someone who knows more than a fitness plan for the gym. You need someone who is also aware of your lifestyle and has a wholistic approach to health and fitness.
