My work is unique because I recognize that fitness is secondary to your desire to change- exercise will get you the results you desire, but your WHY or your REASON usually has little to do with exercise performance. You want to look amazing for an event or improve your health to be around longer for your family. I strive to discover your motivations and your desired results, and I use fitness to get you there. I love that I had both an immediate and long-lasting impact on my clients' lives. One of my clients wrote a review after training with me for a few months and said, "I'd rather give up my best friend than give up training with Katie." How amazing is that??

“When I started with Katie, I was not someone looking to lose a few extra pounds- I was over 300 pounds and looking at some health concerns. Katie is very passionate about what she does, she listens to everything I say and constantly works to improve what I’m doing. My concerns about finding time to meet with Katie, with a changing work schedule were erased, as she is flexible and will work around my schedule. If ever I have a question about something that I am doing, my message is ALWAYS returned with the answer to my question. She has motivated me and worked with me to help see some real improvement in my life. I am feeling better and doing more now than I have in years! I am also starting to feel differently about going to the gym. I’m now looking forward to it and I get excited trying to do something that I struggled with before. I've had the pleasure of working with Katie in several different capacities over the last few years. I have attended exercise and nutrition classes that she has presented, she also trained me in person and I participated in her on-line training and nutrition program. Katie is consistently caring, professional, enthusiastic, positive, high energy (like the energizer bunny), passionate about health and fitness, very knowledgeable and capable of training beginners as well as competitors. She is very creative with her exercise plans and makes it fun and different. I never knew what I was going to get when I showed up but it was always a challenging and progressive work out. Katie was able to motivate me like no other - I had a lot of weight to lose and was in for the long haul. I needed the motivation and persistence she gave me.

    Every year I complete continuing education in an array of specialties, especially nutrition, so that I'm able to provide reliable, scientific information to my clients. I research the latest trends and research some more to dig into the real components of why something is popular and if it really is what it's cracked up to be.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
