Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I help you "fit in fitness", no matter how busy you are. How? Through customized workout recommendations and high-caliber training designed to help you achieve your health and wellness goals, efficiently, effectively. I was formerly a healthcare investor at a $10-billion private investment firm in New York City. I created Fitphile in my free time while pursuing my MBA, with the goal of helping others engage in fitness-based wellness strategies. In addition to being a NASM- and AFAA-certified personal fitness instructor and a NASM-certified corrective exercise specialist, I am also a black belt in taekwondo, a former dance instructor and principal dancer, and trained with the Dartmouth College Boxing Club. I am also a high intensity interval training, kickboxing, Pilates, and yoga enthusiast. I am the creator of Kick-HIIT, a workout that fuses HIIT-training and kickboxing for a knock-out combo to rev up your metabolism. Kick-HIIT focuses on cardio and strength intervals to keep your heart rate up and muscles burning. It targets your core, glutes, legs, and arms for a full body workout. There is no equipment required. It is suitable for all levels. Available as an in-person or Wello on-line small group class.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I provide in-person personal training to clients, with focus on cardiovascular improvement, increased flexibility, and functional fitness and strength. My workout programs are based on a mix of circuit training, high intensity interval training, martial arts, dance, and any other types of exercise that motivate my clients to move and get their sweat on! I typically travel to my clients' apartment buildings and train them in their buildings' gyms, although when weather permits, we also train outdoors.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I strongly recommend that you make sure your personal trainer really understands your goals, understands your personality and personal motivators, and understands your fitness starting point. A trainer that "gets it" will be able to create a customized program for you that 1) is effective, 2) is safe, and 3) is fun and keeps you engaged. Look for mature, experienced trainers who are highly committed and are also reliable business managers and have terrific client service skills.
