- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, I used to reply "a rockstar' Of course, being 3 years old, I hadn't quite grasped the connotations and pitfalls of the rock and roll lifestyle. But what I had grasped was that those people who stood on the stage in front of hundreds of people looked like they were having fun. And all the people watching them looked like they were having fun. And the music sounded incredible. I knew from an early age that to play music did not bring joy to yourself, but gave you the ability to spread it far and wide!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How valuable music is to everyday life, and that without musicians and composers and teachers and appreciation of their arts, the world would be a very dull place! Some people are often taken aback by how much an experienced musician will charge. But given the amount of practice, schooling and dedication required to play and educate at the level we do, you're really getting a fabulous deal!
