A. Ask the web designer as many questions as you can possibly think of. When the expert responds with clear knowledgeable responses without any hesitation you will know that person is no novice and really knows what their speaking of.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It's almost always more cost effective to hire web designers who charge a flat rate. It's easy to spend so much more money when you accept payments by the hour.

A. Ask about the process they use to determine the direction they want to go in with their project. Make sure the web designer understands the demographic and direction of the vision that the client may have,
