Union Square Guitar Lessons

Recording and touring artist Steven Cohen has been passionately teaching guitar to students of every ability and age since 1999. He teaches classical, jazz and rock guitar, as well as recording techniques and songwriting. Steven acquired his music performance degree from the University of Arizona, where he has performed in master classes with artists like The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, as well as in festivals with Leo Brouwer. He also tours with his band Skidmore Fountain across the US, whose music is played on radio stations throughout the country. He also plays his own compositions together with his band Tyro Marks around the east coast. He is currently writing a book on guitar education, and he teaches guitar in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York City.
