Introduction: I have been teaching guitar for over ten years now. My students have ranged in age from teenagers to adults. Over the years, I have taught rock, pop, jazz, bossa nova, and various styles of Spanish guitar. I learned these styles mostly from school and from touring.
I minored in music at SUNY Purchase, and I have toured with many bands over the years. I am also an accomplished composer.

Adonis is a great teacher. I went into lessons knowing only basic open chords, believing that it was impossible for me to play barre chords, or even play in public at all. After just a few months of lessons from Adonis, I am able to finally play barre chords and have been going to open mic nights (with many helpful open mic suggestions from Adonis himself, actually) all over the city! He is extremely patient and thorough, and will work with you in order to get you exactly where you want to be with your guitar playing!
