Guitar Lessons In Manhattan

Introduction: Hi there! I am a guitar teacher based here in New York City. As a teacher, I have about 11 years experience teaching beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. I teach many different styles, including rock, blues, jazz, reggae, funk, pop, folk, and much more. Beyond my regular teaching methods and style, my lessons are always focused on what the student wants to learn. As simple as this might sound, I feel it is a key part to musical growth and continual inspiration. In a nutshell, my teaching style is patient, relaxed, and straight to the point. I love helping people learn and finding their musical voice on the instrument. A little background about me: I've been living here in the city a little over 7 years now. I've been fortunate to have opened and shared the stage with different artists, including Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Adams, Arturo Sandoval, Chick Corea, John Medeski. I have performed in well-known venues such as the Bitter End, The Blue Note, Nectars, Rockwood Music Hall, and many more. I was also recently a featured host and teacher for the Guitar World Magazine mobile app "Lick of the day." I also have a BA in Music (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida International University in Miami, FL. I will be happy to travel to the comfort of your own home, or you are welcome to come to my home studio. I look forward to chatting with you.
