- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My focus is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. This is achieved by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Through songwriting, guitar, piano, music-guided relaxation, music listening, verbal processing, drumming, talking it out and much more. My promise is to be there for you every step of your journey, to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT, MA, MTBC) Masters in Music Therapy Board Certified Music Therapist I am a board certified music therapist and a licensed creative arts therapist. Receiving my masters degree at New York University, I have worked with patients at Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital, Woodhull Medical Center, Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital, from pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and inpatient psychiatry. I have worked with children with hearing impairments at The Strivright School, and have many years of experience as a guitar and piano teacher as well.
