Introduction: I don't have 1 set of lesson plans that I use for all of my students. I understand that there are many kinds of students and I make sure to use the approach that works best for them. I love when my students make some kind of improvement, even if it's a small one. That way, it shows that they are getting closer to their goals.

An all around great dude! I learned some much about guitar (modes, progressions, voicing, soloing, etc) and much more while having a blast jamming out after the lessons! This guy really knowns his stuff. He's been a true inspiration and a great help regarding my own playability. #Excellent!

Daniel played fabulous jazz guitar during cocktails for a large charity dinner. It was the perfect addition . He is easy to work with, an accomplished and talented musician. I would book him again!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University, Teachers College. While I have experience teaching in schools and privately, it is important to me that I continue to learn about the latest research and development in education.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you find a teacher who cares about what his students want, as opposed to someone who just teaches the same lesson to every student. There are way too many teachers that think there is one way that everyone should be taught.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

As much as I love teaching, I love writing and performing my own music as well. I regularly perform my original music at venues, festivals and private parties all over New York.
