This is a great place to get your hair cut. It has a really good location in Midtown, Manhattan, relaxing atmosphere, amazing stylists, polite and friendly staff, scalp and shoulder massages, scented oils, natural environmentally friendly products, beverages and more. What's not to like? My stylist is Oksana. She's been cutting my hair exactly the way I want to. She is always pleasant and sweet and we always have great conversations. My time flies by when I'm getting a cut with her. She puts me at ease and makes me feel happy and relaxed and after doing my hair for some time she knows me too well. Sometimes she switches up the style for me and I feel like she knows what I need better than I do. She always does an awesome job. I don't need to tell her what I want I just leave myself in her hands. I highly recommend Prestige Hair Salon and bonus if you can book with Oksana. This is seriously a five star experience. You won't be disappointed.

My first haircut was just convenient because I happened to be spending time in the area around Manhattan, New York and decided it was time I had something tidy after wearing my hair in a ponytail for some time. The haircut and shave I received at Prestige Hair Salon could not have been of higher quality. I was consulted about what I wanted beforehand and listened to. I was given excellent advice and the cut was executed with great attention to detail. I went back for my second cut today to the same hairstylist Irina and the experience was identical. Old school attention to quality with modern flair and style. I definitely recommend this salon located at 160 East 55th St., New York, NY 10022!

Such a great find! Prestige Hair Salon Midtown NYC fixed my hair with ease and confidence. That amazing lady not only knows my hair she understands it well too. She did beautiful layers that looked fantastic up to this day. Everyone is friendly and it is truly a relaxing environment. I can't believe I found this place. I feel so lucky! My hairstylist at Prestige Hair Salon Midtown NYC was definitely the best. I got lots of compliments on my hair everytime. My hair is not easy and really stubborn to manage but she expertly did well that it looks totally different now. A much better look! One can tell that the stylist is meticulous and well-experienced.
