Introduction: I developed my interior design practice from my love of creating spaces that are inspiring and personal to clients, while it functions for their everyday lifestyle. My focus is to create a space with purpose, allowing clients to be more comfortable, happy, and productive. I am an interior designer with years of experience working on many different projects. I work on renovations, kitchen, bathrooms, interior design, upgrades, and furnishing. I am a certified WELL AP interior designer and educator of a healthy build environment. I recognize the importance of giving clients an environment where they can feel their best physically and mentally. For me, my clients and are the most important part of my work. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help them achieve a home that they have always envisioned. I believe their home should tell their story.

Giselle help us with our outdated bathrooms and the interior design of our home. It had been years since we did any work on the house and the rooms looked very tired. Giselle was very attentive when we discussed our challenges with the house overall. She came up with some great design for the renovation of our bathrooms and helped us see and create a living environment we are thrill with. We wanted to introduce color, update the look to feel more contemporary and have function and storage. Giselle was right on not only with the design but the overall managing the renovation and purchasing of all the furnishings. She is very creative while professional. We would highly recommend her.

When I decided to redesign my apartment in NYC, I wanted the space to also be functional and found it difficult to make the right decision on what to purchase and knew that it would be best to hire a professional to guide me. Giselle was a good fit because she really listened to what I wanted and this made for a smooth and productive process. She had great options for new furniture , and was mindful of our budget by giving good advice on where to splurge and where to save. Giselle gave me a new perspective on design ideas that I would not have thought of myself and gave me the confidence to add and incorporate colors. We started working in the living room and pretty much have redesigned the whole apartment from purchasing a new sofa, chairs, rugs, art work for the living room, a beautiful vintage dresser, beside tables, plush headboard for the master bedroom just to name a few. What impressed me was how creative she is in her ideas and suggestions while always looking to optimize the space. I couldn't be happier with the results. I love that Giselle was keenly attentive to detail and the fact that she was not afraid to give me candid suggestions. Giselle was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.

Giselle helped me design and renovate my kitchen & bath on a tight budget last year, and because she didn't want me to feel like I skimped on luxury, she showed me a way to restore that luxury with the right fixtures and accessories and helped me pick them out. She also hired a great contractor who got the job done under budget, which is very unusual. I couldn't be more happy with the design, the look, and feel of the rooms and the materials we ultimately went with. I'm so glad I went with Giselle's suggestions. Now, both my kitchen and bath have a high-end feel, without it having drained my wallet! Giselle is the ultimate professional. Her unique designs, her keen sense of style and her passion for art and design cannot be questioned. I highly recommend her for any room in your home or apartment. (Surprisingly, she doesn't have the ego that many designers have. She is simply a pleasure to work with.)

When we sold our home Giselle staged it for us. We started by going room to room. She made a list of repairs and told us what we needed to pack up. For some rooms she created new layouts and even went with me to buy furniture and accessories to complete "the look." She did it all - even on our budget and we received rave reviews from realtors, prospective buyers, and brokers. We could not have sold our home without her help.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep things simple. I work in hourly rate and or project base. Everything is put in writing before I start any project and we are very clear on what is included in all our services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a conversation about the client space either by phone or during our first consultation. I always suggest for clients to think about the space, their vision, budget, style and timing. I think good communication is key between client and designer and this usually makes for a great business understanding and overall success of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my career in fashion industry where after graduating with a Fashion Design and Millinery degree and worked in the field for many years. After my husband and I purchased our home my passion grew and I feel in love with interior design. I returned to school and got my Interior Design Degree from the Fashion Institute of New York. I have been working in interior design now for years and always involved in the industry through different associations such as ASID and IFDA and continued education
