ABOUT the designer
Prior to opening Luxe Studio in 2007, founder Tana Nesbitt began her career with apprenticeships with internationally recognized Architects at Rene Gonzalez and Oppenheim Architecture and Design. She has received a graduate degree in Architecture, which incorporates a progressive vision in architecture and design, at The School of Architecture at Florida International University. She has broad experience in high-end Residential design and architecture, as well as commercial office design with consideration to a variety of production schedule requirements and budgets. Her design philosophy focuses on creating unique, yet refined spaces that are highly functional and achieve the visceral satisfaction every Luxe Studio client expects.
A. When looking for a designer there are some things you can do to make the process as smooth as possible:
1) Make sure you are on the same page. Come prepared with inspiration and examples of your ideal design.
2) Be open minded. Your designer might not have examples of work just like your ideal design, but designers are always looking for opportunities to broaden their portfolios.
3) Be honest and upfront about your budget and timeframe. Remember great design can happen at any budget.
4) Make sure you connect. If you love your designer's style, but not their personality, odds are you will be disappointed by the process.
5) The most important thing is to relax and enjoy the process.
