Introduction: Hey! I'm an interior designer with 10 years of residential, commercial design, workplace strategy and branding experience. I’ve worked with firms and clients from Amazon, Microsoft to Starbucks, developing program and interior strategies. I'm starting my own practice to help smaller businesses, retail and restaurants to design their space and make it a beautiful reality. Jan is down to earth and easy to talk to. She created a design plan for my studio and furnished it within a couple of weeks. Shes a really good listener and really cares about her clients. I just wanted a design plan and a shopping list at first, but I felt like she was honest and worked within my budget. I ended up asking her to purchase everything and furnish for me. I appreciated that she made sure I was ok with every item before she purchased and didn't oversell me anything. I recommended her to my friends too after I worked with her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75 an hour or a project price or fixed fee after I see the size of the project. All trade discounts will be extended to the client if I do the purchasing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are very clear and transparent on their services and how they are charging.
