FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been interested in art, design, making a home comfortable and attractive for truly as long as I can remember. I have been practicing my trade and honing my skills for over 30 years in the business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Clean, contemporary interiors that are stylish and comfortable. I prefer spare interiors, with just the right pieces that really count, and express the client's personality.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When starting a new design project, it's helpful for both yourself, and the designer, to make a list of your priorities-the most important items to attack first. Especially if you have a long wish list, and may not have the time or budget, to get to everything done at one time. Also, it's helpful to start collecting pictures and clipping from magazines or other journals, describing what you like most in the photos...(i.e. "I love these lamps" or " I hate this color" etc.) That can instantly help define the thematic approach a designer will take when creating a new space for you. Another thing, realize that all projects are a collaborative effort--a back and forth dialogue between yourself and the designer, both listening to each others point of view.
