Introduction: My approach to design is informed by qualities of history and tradition, juxtaposed with a healthy dose of personality and a bit of the dramatic. While I’d like to think that my work can speak for me, I’ve come to learn that beyond whatever skills a designer brings to the table, the chemistry between designer and client is integral to making a space beautiful and a project seamless. With every client, my goal is to ascertain not only what they say they love, but to really come to understand how they live, so the results exceed their expectations in both form and function. Once the furniture is delivered, the curtains are up, the pretty objects are artfully arranged, and I can see the space I’ve created with my client, I get a little ping in my stomach, and I know that I’ve found my place in the world. I provide residential and commercial interior design services, including floor plans, design schemes, sourcing and styling (and mostly everything in between). I am happy to travel, but also can work remotely and assist clients through e-design. I bill on an hourly basis and pass along my design discounts directly to my clients.
