For months, I was struggling to move forward with designing and decorating my new home. After going in circles I found Branka and I only wish I would have hired her sooner! She was a total delight to work with and was able to bring my vision to life while respecting my budget. I am based in Italy, Florence. I needed someone to follow me remotely and guide me in making decisions helping me navigate the ocean of options and styles available. I am also not a fan of trends and wanted to be mindful of the environment without purchasing all new pieces. Couldn’t quite find a consultant of this sort where I am based, and the online consultancy worked perfectly with my needs and daily routines. I needed to redo my living room but couldn't change much. Branka followed me step by step, making sure to understand my preferences and dislikes, while mindful of my needs and priorities. We agreed on which pieces to keep and which to revisit (also keeping in mind budgetary limits). She created a Pinterest board with suggestions, options, examples, and a color palette. The entire process was friendly and smooth and while I'm not finished with purchasing the pieces I am excited about the options that she has worked on. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for small design consultations is $400, to be paid upon agreeing to my written proposal. For larger projects such as the full design of a room or home I charge a flat fee which varies in terms of the size and scope of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start all projects by discussing the client's style and goals. The client will then provide images of rooms and styles that they like and will set a firm budget for their project. Once these details have been determined, I will provide mood boards, room layouts and renderings and on-site installation in whatever combination is required for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a certificate in Home Staging from the New York Institute of Art & Design (NYIAD).
