I really enjoy my lessons with Sakura- Sensei! She is very patient and she does a great job teaching Japanese while also giving insight to the culture in Japanese. She also explains when it is appropriate to use certain styles of the language. I definitely recommend her! Especially if you just started out with the language and want to expand on your skills.

Matsumura sensei is a fantastic teacher! I had some prior beginner level experience with Japanese grammar and vocabulary but needed a lot of help with my listening and speaking. She patiently taught me about conversational Japanese, the cultural reasons behind it, and provided many resources to help me improve. I find her style of teaching to be relaxed and fun. I went from not feeling comfortable saying anything to being able to carry on a conversation, so I'm very happy with the lessons.

I just had my trial lesson with Sakura-san. She took the time to explain the nuances with phrases and how they are used and understood in Japanese society, which is something I wouldn't have been able to pick up from a textbook or app like Duolingo. Overall, it was a very informative first class and I look forward to my next lesson!

So far, Kazue-sensei has been great. She makes each lesson fun and just challenging enough, and is flexible with time/willing to work around your schedule (which I really appreciate, as a college freshman). Looking forward to learning more Japanese!
