About Davies & Associates, Immigration Lawyers

We have been described as "one of the world's best immigration law firms". While there are never any guarantees in immigration matters, we are proud of the fact that we have never had a visa application we have submitted denied.

Our focus is truly on making our clients' business and personal goals a reality. While our lawyers assist corporations, institutes, universities and individuals with a variety of the most complex immigration needs, we pride ourselves on the efficiency with which we both structure and handle our work.

We assist clients with work visas, family visas, green cards, deportation defense and other matters.

Our lawyers all attended Ivy League Law Schools and are admitted to practice law in the United States and the United Kingdom.

If you have a question about your immigration status or an immigration need, then please call our New York office.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Choosing an immigration lawyer is an important step. Meet with at least two or three lawyers and consider:

- Lawyers who ONLY practice immigration law
- Lawyers with 10+ years immigration experience]
- A lawyer you communicate well with
- A Lawyer who is an AILA (Association of American Immigration Lawyers) member

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. For immigration work it is not relevant which state(s) a lawyer is admitted to practice law in.

Like everything it is generally the case that you "get what you pay for". While price is important choosing a lawyer solely based on price is often a mistake.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How many similar cases have you handled?

Do you take anything other than immigration cases?

May I have some client references?
