I am a freelance makeup artist/airbrush artist and hair stylist based in New York City. I am willing to travel as long as expenses are covered. I love to play with new ideas and get creative with different looks.

I love to shoot beauty, editorial spreads, fashion, commercial, also available for head shots and movies. I work exclusively with one photographer for those.

I work quickly and cleanly and am fun to have on set yet very professional.

You can book me for either makeup or hair or for both. The prices will vary.

Have a nice day!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Fashion tests, or model tests, I do a lot of headshots as well.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What kind of shoot is it? What is it for? if its for a submission is it print or online? Do you have a hair stylist, wardrobe stylist? Who is the model? Are there multiple models? Photographer? Where is the shoot? (location or studio)

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Each day is different, you get to meet awesome people who are just as passionate about what they do as I am. And I get to play with makeup every day.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That things aren't always what they seem. But thats why were here i guess.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Ive always loved makeup, and really never thought about being a makeup artist before. When I was 21 a old friend of the family brought it up after I did my friends makeup for a party and it sort of flicked the switch. I was living in NZ at the time and started looking up schools and found MKC Beauty Academy in LA so I moved back to the states and went to MKC later that year. Was probably some of the best advice I've ever gotten.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, you need to. I take master classes a lot, workshops when they come around. I recently went back to LA to learn how to do hairstyling. Last year I spent 3 days in Chicago for the The Artist Summit, perfect eyebrows, period makeup, editorial makeup, celebrity beauty, interpreting trends. Back in LA i also learned how to do airbrushing. I also go to The Makeup Show which have workshops and things.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Go to school, take a buisness class, and test, and network.
