My name is Shiko Vun.
I've been working as a professional make-up artist for the past 15 years.
Originally from Tel-Aviv, Israel there my foundation and love for makeup and fashion all began. There also I found an amazing opportunity to dive head first into the industry doing make-up for major shows in Tokyo. During my career I had wonderful experiences and many successful projects working in Milan and Tel-Aviv. Currently I reside and work out of NYC.
I am a creator and feel very passionate about my work, putting my heart and soul into every project I take on, no matter how big or small.

Shiko Vun is, hands down, the best make-up artist in NYC. He has made me beautiful countless times for intimate gatherings as well as for glittering, paparazzi/celebrity-filled, gala events. He brings out your best features, but you always look like YOU, not like a carbon copy of someone else. Whatever he does to you will last until you wash it off. No fading, smearing or smudging. The fact that he is so kind, humble and life-affirming makes him a joy to work with and to be around. I've had my make-up done by prima donnas whose attitude implied they were doing me a big favor. This will never be your experience with Shiko. He will make you look so gorgeous, your friends will ask you if you've had "work done" LOL! The time spent in his chair is such a delight, you will also feel like you have found a new best friend. So you leave his chair looking and feeling happy and confident. What more could you possibly want?! If Shiko does your make-up, you are one lucky girl!!

Shiko is not only a great talent, but also completely professional. He listens to his clients and helps to make their dreams come true. He is versatile, and also has his own creative vision. He knows how to enhance every woman's features. Also, he is a lovely person and just totally fun to work with!!

Shiko is super amazing! I am so happy he did make up for my wedding! First of all he is very punctual, he is has a good sense of style and he is very flexible. After we talked he did my make up very natural, I didn't explain well that I wanted to have much more dramatic eyes and he easily adjusted everything. Shiko is a magician! My eyelashes were amazing, the skin tone was perfect the entire day and the smokey eyes looked just as I would imagine. I will recommend him to all of my friends!
