About
I absolutely ADORE working with babies and new moms. Being a Doula, and a perinatal massage therapist is the most rewarding chapter of my life thus far.

Jen Nelson has been a friend and colleague of mine for many years! I have had many massage sessions with her in that time and her work has always helped me out tremendously! Her masages are intuitive and customized to each client's needs. -Heidi M. (fellow bodyworker)

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Clients who get treatments at my home studio are welcome to use my shower and bathroom -- I have amenities available for my guests.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was at a place in my life, between jobs, after I'd decided "college wasn't for me", where I was open to new ideas. I happened to befriend a Pilates instructor and yoga teacher who encouraged me to get into the field of bodywork; they noticed something in me I hadn't seen before: the ability to naturally and organically enjoy helping people selflessly.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Every individual has specific needs. When shopping for a Massage Therapist, it's crucial to be able to trust your body with them. Don't be afraid to try several out first before you commit to making a second appointment with one of them.
