FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients have a slightly longer first session. After discussing the history and goals for massage, the session is performed and any areas with issues will be noted. A treatment plan is recommended to address issues and monitor progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained at Cortiva Institute in Hoboken, NJ. I have 1080 hours of education in massage and have studied several modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point, Thai, neuromuscular therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (pnf), medical and hot stone massage.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been involved with work that helped people in one way or another. Massage was a perfect choice for me as a profession because I'm very sensitive and intuitive. This kind of work allows me to productively use those talents while helping others as well.
