Introduction: Hi, I'm an experienced tutor and lesson provider. I've worked with all ages (4-80s), in both group and single-student formats. I am most experienced in teaching tennis, guitar, and writing. I've had professional possessions as a tennis teacher and coach, and as a writing tutor to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Michigan, and had worked briefly for Kaplan while in college. I also have extensive experience teaching private lessons for guitar, tennis, for children and general tutoring in Math, English and Science. I'm happy to travel to you for private or group lessons, or you can come to me for cheaper rates. Guitar is my forte these days, and I can give instruction on hand technique and positioning, chords, soloing/improvising, fingerstyle and flatpicking techniques, singing while playing, and songwriting. I tailor my approach to the demands and characteristics of each student, and am happy to teach you what you want to learn, as opposed to what some method book says is the "right" thing to learn first. Generally, I'm very easy going, relaxed, and flexible, though I will be candid and will keep you accountable to commitments you make in lessons for everyone's sake.
