- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Recently Universal Music Group extended an invitation to submit music for motion pictures, TV and other media, the first year I may submit 20. I studied 6 years at the presitgious University of Miami, Fl with the best the world has to offer. My teachers, one, Stan Samole taught Pat Metheny, Steve Morse, Hiram Bullock, John Hart grammy nom this year, Peter Harris Bruce Hornsby and many others, my other teacher was an LA session man for years, Frank Germance. I studied guitar theory with Stan and Peter Harris now an LA film scorer. I hold a BA in classical guitar and my teacher was the protege of John Sutherland who was a protege of Andres Segovia. I learned from the true masters in lineage. My Bach teachers were the late great Dr Alfred Reed, #1 band composer in the world for 40 years and Dr Martin David Jones and his mother trace their piano teacher linage back to J.S.Bach. Dr Jones' wife from Yale was my form and analysis professor. My choir director for three years was from North Texas State.
