We have over 30 years of moving knowledge! We do local and long distance moving and also provide top-notch loading and unloading of vans, trucks, trailers, etc. We also do apartment and residential stagings. We also provide top-notch packing of articles that may be difficult to pack.

We provide small-package pickup and delivery.

Clean outs and removal are available upon request; curb placement also.

We are also a licensed locksmith.

We offer pre-move-in pest control at great rates. All can be tailored to your move, upon request.

We have been a team of movers for over 4 years, with over 30 years of all aspects of the relocation services. We offer special long-distance rates, and there is no long waiting for your delivery as we offer same-day service and as little as only 2 days.

  Marvin and his helper were great!
  It just so happened that on my moving date from a 4th floor unit in a walkup the unit above me was also moving out. On top of that two other apartments across the street had moving trucks come in. With all that commotion Marvin did an amazing job and managed to get all my stuff loaded into a trailer (we didn't think it would fit but he did it). I would definitely recommend him!

  Marvin and his friend just came to our house to move a heavy couch out. When my husband and I moved into our home the movers had so much trouble getting the couch upstairs and into the room we joked that we'd need to saw it in half if we ever needed to get it out! Well, Marvin and his friend got the couch out in no time and without even touching our walls! They were friendly, funny and polite. A pleasure to work with. Would recommend them to anyone!

  Marvin and his team were super efficient and speedy. Marvin +1 did what took me and my 3 friends 6 hours to do in 45 minutes ... up 3 flights of stairs!! They made my move a breeze and were patient when snow caused my moving truck to arrive 4 hours late. I would definitely recommend them.

  I had a wonderful experience with Marvin and his assistant. They were professional, courteous, affordable and easy to work with. My job was a bit complicated: moving a piano from a 3rd floor apt with stairs in Brooklyn to a cabin in the woods past New Paltz, NY. Marvin made the job look easy, moving the piano in a mere 30 min. He drove all the way out to the country and again moved the piano easily, up stairs and into a small place. I would definitely recommend Marvin and Harlem Express...they were awesome and made my piano move a piece of cake.

  Marvin and his team were friendly, professional, and quick. Made moving from NYC--LA a little easier. Moving is stressful and he is relaxed and gets the job done quick and efficient. They loaded a small portable unit and manged to fit all my stuff. I was ready to either ship/or trash things that didn't fit. I would recommend them or if I was in NY hire them for future jobs.

  Marvin was the first person who responded to my ad on craigslist and was incredibly respectful and courteous. The fee was very reasonable, so despite other responses, I went with his team.
  
  I needed to move a 1br apt from queens to upstate ny. They were very understanding and even pushed back the moving time 1 hour when we requested it at the last minute on the day of the move. They were prompt and diligent. He and his 2 partners helped me pack up the 25% of the apartment that I hadn't gotten to and packed the van in record time. The drop off was equally efficient.

  I found Marvin and his team on Craigslist. I hired them for an internal commercial move at my offices in Manhattan. Marvin and his team were extremely friendly, punctual, and professional. The price was fair and the service exceptional. I would not hesitate to hire Harlem Express again. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was extremely satisfied in the end.   My only wish is that I wish I knew about Harlem Express earlier. Originally I set up a time with another company to help me move. They never showed up. After looking around for a company to help me move my stuff at the last minute I found Harlem Express Inc. From the start they were willing to help. They arrived within 15minuets of calling them. They moved me to my new place fast and with care. I would use this service again if I decide to move and would recommend them to friends and families because they were polite, courteous, and professional.

  Let's face it, people: moving sucks. Moving really sucks when you can't be home, your stuff is arriving at an unknown hour (the dreaded "sometime between twelve and four"), and you have a total of three thousand pounds of loose boxes and heavy furniture in several pieces sitting in the middle of the sidewalk with Hurricane Irene 72 hours from landfall.
  
  This is where Marvin and Harlem Express come in. I found them on craigslist and guessed that with our 3000 pounds of stuff (it was actually a bit less) and two flights of stairs, it was a two man job for about two hours. He agreed over emails and told us to call him as soon as it all arrived, and he'd be over within an hour.
  
  When our stuff did arrive, Marvin and his partner arrived promptly (within the hour), but were surprised to see that everything was packaged in enormous wooden pallets (about 600 pounds each), under which was corrugated cardboard wrapped in plastic stretch film. In other words, simply getting our stuff out of the pallets would have taken two hours - not to mention the fact that we all initially thought this stuff would just be on the sidewalk for a simple hauling job.
  
  The two didn't have tools but figured out a way to disassemble everything neatly and efficiently before moving everything upstairs. And after nearly four hours of disassembling, hauling, organizing, stacking, and cleaning, they were done. They put each labeled box in the appropriate room, they kept walkways for us to be able to use (realistically, we're going to be dealing with these boxes for about five days), were careful, meticulous, and extremely efficient. During the entire process, they kept me updated via picture message and were polite, professional, and, when it comes down to it, very impressive.
  
  They laid everything out on the curb for pickup, leaving room for passersby. They were polite to my girlfriend and son, who were obviously too small to help in any impactful way. They kept everything clean and organized, and they did all of this with the utmost of respect for our home and property. I cannot recommend them enough, and would call them first if I ever have to go through this process again.

  I have used Harlem Express twice to move between boroughs and both moves were perfectly executed, and most of all FAST. Marvin moves extremely quickly and efficiently (twice as fast as other movers I have used) and his prices cannot be beat (especially for two people working.)
