FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh I definitely do, get ready for this, wait for it... On YouTube! It's the best FREE continuing education the internet has to offer, of course that's just a part of it. There is also countless hours of practice and finding ways to improve.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love playing guitar so much to the point that it had started interfering with my work schedule. I was used to playing 8 hours on any given day, but now with a 50 hour work week, it is becoming impossible to find time practice and develop my craft. So I decided to teach guitar as a way to do what I love AND be able to do so while showing guys and gals like you how to play! All the while enjoying every second of it :)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Teaching my students how to read tabs, how to properly hold a guitar and have good posture. Many times a student will want to skip ahead, but It's really doing themselves a disservice. Think about throwing a football, if you didn't know how to hold it on the optimal surface with your fingers, and how to throw it properly at the right angle, spin and force, that football will never amount to much more than a series of uncontrolled downwards spirals. Postures, think football.
