Duet In ONE: TOP 40 Guitar Lessons with Steve

Introduction: Many Guitar Instructors will cater their lessons on classic songs that they already know how to play for many years, and even though this is Time-less and great for a repertoire, it can sometime seem boring and irrelevant to certain learners. I've catered my lessons on Top 40 songs of the choice of my students, so that students will find the relevant connection of today's music to their guitar playing. I will also explain what makes a great song not just purely on the technicality of it, but the musicality of it as well. Many purists and seasoned players will always swear by the great Blues & Rock players as a starting point of learning guitar. I fully see the important building foundation in this approach, however, I didn't start in this method. I will show you what had worked for me and my videos are the best demonstration in how music speaks to every individual in its own unique ways. As long as you find the common ground of every music Genre in guitar playing, you can explore the endless possibilities from any form. I enjoy every second of playing, whether it is with a student, out in the streets, on a stage, or recording in my room. I also believe that for a musician to truly grow, they need to play many other instruments, and explore different methods to make their craft better.
