FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
50$ per hour, which I think is pretty reasonable. I had to pay 80$ an hour when I first started. I'm not trying to bankrupt people, just a college student trying to make some extra money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Come with a basic plan for beginners, assess the current knowledge level, and adapt the plan accordingly. If someone knows all their scales and basic picking technique and guitar anatomy, I'm not going to waste an hour of their time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took guitar lessons for 6 years (10-16) while trying to accumulate a base knowledge of shred techniques to emulate the players I like. I also played in my school Jazz band for 5 years (2008-2013), which expanded my knowledge in theory. I played in a band in high school, which played at multiple venues around my hometown, and am currently in two bands, whose music can be found online under Chris Farrar's and "Death is a Business's" soundcloud (I didn't come up with the name).
