My lessons with Aaron at Music Lessons have been a great experience and Im so happy with the progress I have made on the saxophone and as an overall musician under his direction. Aaron offered a free half hour introduction class over Zoom where he assessed my needs and presented me with an affordable lesson plan. He then created a google classroom for me where I have easy access to the reference materials he has provided. His background as a professional educator really shows up as he presents information in a clear, concise manner and uses the special features of the Zoom application to great effect. His communication style is calm and kind and I have found him to be generous with his time when I have questions outside of our regularly scheduled classes. Aaron has taken the time to develop a challenging curriculum that is tailored to my needs as an experienced musician, but I can see how his approach to teaching would be suitable for players of any level. If you are in the market for a Saxophone instructor, I would highly recommend Aaron.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat each student as an individual. We will begin by discussing your musical interests and the aspects of your playing that you want to improve. I will craft lessons with this information in mind.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played the saxophone for over 20 years and have worked as a music teacher in the NYCDOE since 2014. I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with eager students.
