Introduction: I am a musician currently living in New York specializing in jazz, classical and pop music. I teach upright bass, electric bass, and guitar to students of all ages. I focus on helping my students set short and long term goals, prescribing weekly exercises and practice routines to help achieve these goals.
I am a recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music and can offer lots of insight into the college process and how to prepare for auditions and recordings.
I have taught master classes at various high schools and middle schools all over the US, including the San Francisco School for the Arts and the Marin School for the Arts. I have taught bass as a teaching artist at WHEELS in Washington Heights and at Promise Academy in Harlem. I currently teach guitar and general music at PS319Q in Far Rockaway.
I take great pride in my students and get tremendous satisfaction out of seeing my students succeed in attaining their goals. I think the best way to learn is to constantly have something concrete in mind that you are working towards!
