FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has always been a passion of mine and I began performing in community theater musicals at a young age. I went on to pursue music in college, and I received a BFA in Vocal Performance from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I have had musical training throughout my life and I enjoy helping students attain all of their goals and musical aspirations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I always begin lessons with breathing exercises and correct posture. I teach a method of vocal technique called Somatic Voicework, which incorporates a series of warm ups that isolates the head and chest voices, and seamlessly connects the two registers. I also assist students with choosing repertoire and developing natural stage presence.
