Introduction: I teach reading music, jazz and pop contemporary, composition and arranging and improvisation. What I do is get right into songs, no boring exercise, how to listen and learn songs without the music for advance students, how to play standards from lead sheets and reharmonize how to take ideas by ear off records. I am a license teacher who works in New York City schools as a music teacher as well as a private teacher. I teach children and adults.
