Introduction: Music has always held a special place in my heart!
I am honored to have been the recipient of several live music awards in NYC for "Best R&B/jazz vocalist" and "Best Female Vocalist". I have given various voice clinics and presentations at several schools, including Teachers College at Columbia University as well as world renown Berklee College School of Music. In addition to my clinics, I have worked with several major and independent recording labels, coaching their artists both in the recording studio and for stage.
My clientele ranges from pre-teens to mature adults, across all musical genres including, R&B, pop, jazz, rock and Broadway.
My approach emphasizes speech-based singing, which is exceptionally adaptable to a broad range of styles, because it does not force rigid technique. When using this technique, it produces greater vocal range and control which allows complete freedom to express feelings when singing a song.
Staying true to your own voice is something I believe will help you become a better singer and a more confident performer. My technique and nurturing abilities are what I feel the hallmark of my success in gaining my students' trust and commitment to hard work!
"Ms. Hall imparted many practical insights to our students who attended our vocal clinic and were thoroughly entranced. She demonstrated both her performance, years of experience, the wisdom and congeniality so essential to good teaching. Her ability to perform in virtually all contemporary musical styles enabled Ms. Hall to reach home to the diverse Berklee College of Music's student body. In addition, she impressed our faculty with her professionalism and talent." -- Kenneth Greenhouse, Chair, Voice Dept., Berklee College of Music, Boston
