A. The best advice I have for potential customers is hire Pekuliarpainters and all your worries will disappear.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer I wish I knew that a paint job did not have to result in a mess. As in paint all over the floor and windowsills and such.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We at pekuliarpainters work well with our clients schedules. We also are the cleanest painters around. Being females we pay attention to detail and all of our clients are totally satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Painting is very soothing to me, and I also like the fact that I can make someone else happy by brightening up their surroundings.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. When can I start. My answer is always immediately.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I had a client that tried the "do it yourself" way. He smeared a cement mixture on the wall in several places all over his bathroom. He was making an attempt at small hole repair. Anyway to make a long story longer, I spent a good amount of time scraping the cement off the walls. Then I was able to repair it the proper way and commence to painting. It was so hot that day and the small bathroom was like a sauna. As I think back I laugh.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That we absolutely love what we do, we are the best painters around, and take pride in our work.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. When a teenager I was intrigued by construction workers. I took a couple of building maintenance classes and here I am. Decided that I like painting the most.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. The jobs that make me proud are the ones that are finished sooner than the client expects. Which is almost always the case. I find that a lot of people hire me to complete a project that has been started by themselves. I particularly enjoy helping those people, because they really need someone to help.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. The internet is very reliable these days. What is new is just a click away. I find it the best way to educate myself.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Well right now I am loving the newest technology in paints. The Aura paint and all the other paints that have primer and paint in one is remarkable. It cuts down painting time in half.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. The last paint job I completed was one bedroom, a hallway, and a small kitchen. I had one other person helping me. The cost of the job was $650.00. It was completed in less than 8 hours. Aura paint was used and it reduced the application time drastically. ( Aura paint has primer and paint mixed in one can).

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. The pricing system is not complicated. We charge by the room.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Try to develop a sense a neatness now. Painters wear white and are supposed to be neat. Some of us have forgotten that important fact.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. what is most commonly used to repair a hole in sheet rock? Joint compound.
