Denise is a wonderful handywoman - she has come to my apartment several times to do a wide range of work (ranging from installing rolling drawers into my pantry cabinets to hanging a flat screen TV to anchoring a rootrail under my kitchen counter which had come loose to tightening a closet door handle). She was efficient, paid close attention to detail and is quite reasonable in her rates. She's also fun to talk to :-) I have recommended her to several others who live in my building as well as to colleagues at work and all have been very pleased as well.

I called Denise for a simple job (putting up a curtain rod). She came over and got straight to business, and I had my curtain up in minutes. No nonsense, got the job done and didn't charge me that much. Thumbs up!

Denise is simply terrific. Totally dependable, very hard working, and a pleasure to work with. Denise painted three rooms, installed two televisions (wall mounts), assembled several pieces of furniture, and helped with a leaking door frame. These efforts...along with others...took place over several days, and were accomplished perfectly. It could not have been easier, and it would not have happened if I had not had Denise's help and her advice. I look forward to many more opportunities to work with her.

Denise exceeded my expectations !! She came prepared for any task I needed done, & went right to work. Great personality & good company to have around. She was a wealth of information & there wasn't any job she couldn't handle. I had her hanging pictures, assembly of a Pottery Barn table, laying a 10x12 rug, repairing a broken table shelf & lamp shade. I think she is an honest & very capable person that anyone one would want to use. And, her price point is a deal for what you get !!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed being self employed,meeting my customers needs on a personal level. My back round is in Digital Electronics and i am a prior owner of Mondo Sound and Auto Detail Inc. In our ever changing communities i have taken my hands on skill and my ability to utilize many different tools and added to it by incorporating mobile electronics/home theatre and the construction trade.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always read or request reviews as well as pictures of prior jobs. Check the referrals to make sure communication and actual job was performed in a timely manner. It is important that as a consumer all questions receive a prompt response either by email,phone call,and or text. All information regarding the company should be available such as a verified email address,phone number and website.Compare to other providers to make sure you are getting a good match and price for your needs.
