- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly doing market work for fashion and costume design and because I love the industry so much! There are always new brands, new designers, new colors, new prints, new fabrics - every time you set foot in a shop or sit down at your computer with a look book you're getting an education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved fashion and started out as a journalist writing for various websites and magazines. After deciding I wanted something more hands on I wound up working as a stylist. I truly enjoyed connecting with people on a more personal level and, to this day, that's my favorite part of the job.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked as head costume designer for the critically-acclaimed Vimeo original web series "High Maintenance". It was the greatest experience of my life because I got to work with an incredible group of individuals and help them to develop their characters fully.
