My background in dance has really given me keen eye for postural distortions. I have been unknowingly studying human movement since the age of 8. At Juilliard I received a greater understanding of anatomy and coupled with my NASM training, I can confidently say that I excel at providing clients with the safest and most efficient way of exercising. Results! No one wants to hire an expert and never see results. Results make my client happy and a happy client makes me happy. I also love what I do. Im constantly learning. Wether it is during a session with a client or from the trainers that I work with on my time. Fitness is a field that is constantly evolving and I believe someone has to be truly passionate about it in order to keep up. You can always tell when someone enjoys their job by how much they are willing to learn about it.

Amaker Smith is a wonderful trainer. He listens to your goals and helps you reach them in a way that is achievable, challenging, and stimulating. You won't only see outer results but inner results as well. I was getting frustrated with myself because I wasn't seeing results on the scale right away. Amaker suggested measuring my body instead, and every 2 weeks an inch or so would be gone!!! What I like most about Amaker is that he pushes you towards your goals in a positive and encouraging way. Amaker is my first personal trainer and I'm glad I went with him!

Amaker is an excellent trainer and does a great job adjusting to different fitness levels. He trains both my girlfriend and I and we both find the session to be beneficial. I have lost about 15lbs already and I am in much better overall shape since we started about 6 wks ago.

Amaker is one of the best trainers out there. He takes the time to really get to know your needs and sets targeted goals. I played Division I baseball in college and worked with many nationally ranked trainers and Amaker is right on par.

Amaker has been fantastic so far. He was extremely thoughtful in structuring my workout regiment, designed to achieve the goal i had laid out to him. We've had a number of sessions already and i have been very happy. He has been the best personal trainer i have had to date.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Create specific goals. Most people who hire trainers begin programs with general goals like: loose weight, build muscle, look good naked. Creating specific goals like I want to loose 30 pounds by February makes your goals more attainable. Specific goals can be written down and envisioned and the first step to change is being able to see it.
