And inspire you without boring you in the process. With over 5 years of experience as a fitness specialist, I have trained clients of all ages and fitness levels including athletes, actors, and business professionals. My clients are television writers, financial experts, and actors to name a few. I incorporate a wide range of exercise techniques to get results, prevent injuries, and make exercising fun. My easy going, positive, yet motivating style makes me a perfect fit to help you get in the best shape of your life. Fitness is a way of life for every stage of life. An active, healthy lifestyle produces a healthy mind and body. I’m excited to make a commitment to anyone looking to be challenged and inspired. Together we can have a little fun while achieving the goal of stronger muscles, stronger minds, and better health. A successful training session is about the mind and the body. It's an hour where the client doesn't have to worry about anything other than the task at hand. I love being a support system for my clients, emotionally and physically, all the while helping them transform their bodies. Watching someone reach their goals has to be the most fulfilling thing about being a personal trainer. And my favorite thing to do is make a client laugh. Just because the workout is tough, doesn't mean that you can't have fun. The relationships I've formed with clients are some the richest and longest lasting friendships I have. And I'm always ready to meet new people.

I have been working out with Shane for nearly 4yrs and he is an amazing trainer. I've worked with a variety of trainers in the city (NYSC, Equinox, Hanson Fitness) and Shane has been the best by far. - Creative workouts: I'm never bored. He is always coming up with new/interesting exercises and clearly puts thought into each session ahead of time. - Effective: I began noticing a difference after just a few weeks and he is always tracking the intensity level of our workouts to make sure I don't plateau. He's also funny/personable, keeping the workouts challenging without the whole drill sergeant vibe. - Knowledgable: knows proper form, muscle groups, stretching techniques, etc. - Flexible scheduling: great for anyone with a hectic schedule, he is always punctual but also understanding and flexible when I'm running late

I was looking for a trainer because motivating myself to workout just wasn't happening. I found Shane - and I'm happy I did. He's an incredible trainer. I've worked with 3 others in the past, and they all sort of fizzled. Shane finds a way to always make it fun, different, and I actually look forward to his sessions. He really knows his stuff and is also 'easy on the eyes' which helps :). I love that he doesn't just bark orders at me, but instead shows, motivates, and guides me each step of the way - and the results have been great. I think I found my trainer for life - I highly recommend him.

Shane is my favorite and most effective trainer to date, and I have worked with several trainers and a number of gyms for the last several years. I see results not that I have never gotten before, and this is just with 2 times a week. Shane listens and pays attention to his clients, getting to know them as individuals with different needs, and designs workouts accordingly. He always keeps sessions fun & funny, but challenging, and is at once demanding and supportive of his clients. Thank you!

I've been training with Shane for the last three months and the changes in my fitness level have been oustanding. I had been exercising regularly for a long time but found that I reached a plateau. Shane helped me to reassess and reinvigorate my exercise routines by monitoring what I do during the week between our sessions and introducing me to a wider range of exercises. He's great at helping to push me beyond my status quo in order to have the best results I've seen in my training within the last five years.

Shane is by far the best trainer I've found. And I know trainers. I've had 5 of them since I moved to NYC. He's not intimidating at all and there's something so approachable and friendly about him. He also seems to really care about my results and isn't just phoning it in. I'm also thrilled with my results -- and I know our training sessions are effective because I'm often sore the next day, not bored while doing them, and look forward to our appointment. If you're lucky enough to be able to book a session with Shane, do it!
