Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Please look at the photographs and then, if you like the photos, talk to the photographer. Make sure you get a good feeling from them! There are plenty of people with cameras that can frame a photo. Ask them how they behave at the wedding. I am unobtrusive and very present.. Ask for references and make sure that you like the personality of the photographer that you are hiring!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I'm an artist and photographer. I teach photography at three local colleges and have shown work at many venues; locally, nationally and internationally. My favorite photographers are David Graham and Larry Fink.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love the energy at events, especially weddings! I had a great photographer at my wedding (actually two... both teachers of mine) and base my wedding photographic work on the great memories I have of the experiences at my wedding. I'm particularly interested in shooting photos that are un-posed; people talking, laughing, greeting each other, dancing...
