- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Time, complexity of the design, turnaround speed, amount of services (consultation, design, coding, printing, photography, etc)... all these dictate the price. Prices are tailored according to the project and the client's budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to, but design courses are not cheap (try prices starting at $8 to $10 THOUSAND dollars, in good schools). So mostly, I read blogs on the subject and do researches on my own. Being active and on top of your game is the key for any professional -from any area.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started blogging back in 1997. The blog design (in AOL) were horrible! So I started working on its design. Soon after, I was obsessed in working on my MySpace design. And then I realized that everything I touched, I had to "perfect" the design. Soon enough, blogging became secondary and design was all that mattered!
