Camilla

Introduction: Camilla Cerea was born in Milan. She has a bachelor's degree in art history from the Universita Statale in Milan. She attended the stage photography course of Teatro alla Scala of Milan and shot in several important theaters in Italy -- Teatro alla Scala, Ponchielli and Arcimboldi. In 2011, she cofounded and worked as a photographer and a photo editor for the online photographic and theater-themed magazine, Kair's. In 2012 and 2013, she co-organized and participated in the collective Fotografia come spettacolo and Uno spettacolo di fotogafia, both parts of the Milan Photo Festival. She moved to Dublin in 2013, where she collaborated with The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art, the British Council and The Ark Cultural Center for children. In the same year, she participated in the exhibition Visioni di citta in the ExpoEdiliazia in Rome. Camilla's works has been published in magazines such as Corriere della Sera, Irish Theater Magazine and Time Out New York. She is currently studying at the International Center of Photography in the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism program, where she was awarded the Dow Jones Scholarship for Photojournalism. Camilla Cerea is based in New York City.
