Irina has been my daughters' piano teacher since they were in first grade. Now the oldest one is in 5 th grade. Irina is an outstanding professional, her knowledge and love of her art is deep and contagious. While it is always a fun and engaging experience for my kids, she requires that their work is of the highest standard and always entices them to go deeper in their studies, to do more. Irina comes from the venerable Russian music tradition and is an outstanding performer herself. Every year she organizes two beautiful concerts for her students at such professional venues as Baryshnikov art center where her protégées can taste the excitement of public performance. I give her ten enthusiastic thins up!

My daughter and I are both taking lessons with Ms Rees for two years. Initially my goal was to get my child started on piano, but then I realized, this is something I may enjoy doing too. By now I made substantial progress to be able to play easy classical repertoire .I like Ms.Rees' approach to teaching, her friendly and effective style and ability to share her knowledge.

Irina is a most inspiring piano teacher. She is both wise and playful. Her attention to technique is superb. My children are 11 and 6; since we have had Irina, they practice without my asking and they run to the door to greet her when she comes over. Not only do my children now play beautiful piano, they will have the happiest memories of their childhood teacher. Priceless.

I know Irina Rees as a gifted and patient piano teacher to several of my friends’ kids. I am always impressed with how she finds a way to motivate and encourage each and every one of her students, no matter how young. Every year, Irina organizes piano recitals for her students. It is a truly amazing experience to see children and adults playing difficult pieces by Mahler, Mozart, Beethoven and enjoying it so much. This piano teacher is outstanding!

Excellent! Mrs. Rees is not only a highly trained professional in her field with the classic approach, she also truly loves what she does and enjoys seeing her students share her love of music. Her skill and determination helped my then four and a half year old daughter (that at first, faced with an intimidating task, resisted to try and play the piano) to learn and enjoy playing at her own free will. I am proud to say, she plays with both hands and at times composes her own little pieces. I have also seen other students of Mrs. Rees at concerts organized to demonstrate overall progress. Some studied with Mrs. Rees only for a year or two, but demonstrated impressive results. I believe that the program and materials selected by Mrs. Rees will help your child to progress in no time. I strongly recommend Mrs. Rees to anyone who wants to give thier child the gift of music!
